Li Auto has officially introduced its new flagship electric SUV, the Li i9, in China. The vehicle is priced at ¥369 800, which is approximately $54 400. It features a drag coefficient of 0.215, which the company claims is the lowest for a mass-produced SUV globally.

The SUV measures 5225 mm in length, 1970 mm in width, and 1752 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3168 mm. It utilizes a steer-by-wire system and rear-wheel steering, providing a minimum turning diameter of 10.6 m. The interior includes four zero-gravity seats and second-row units that can rotate bidirectionally.

The dual-motor all-wheel-drive system delivers 400 kW of power and 660 Nm of torque, allowing the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds. It is powered by a 101 kWh ternary lithium battery, offering a CLTC range of 705 km and supporting fast charging that adds 500 km of range in 10 minutes.

The optional Embodied Intelligence package includes dual M100 chips with 1280 TOPS and four LiDAR sensors, supported by the Mach VLA driver model. Safety features include 11 airbags and a 2000 MPa integrated dual-door ring structure.

While initial i9 models will be equipped with CATL batteries, Li Auto plans to transition to its own self-developed batteries manufactured by Sunwoda in future versions.
