Porsche has unveiled the Mission S concept, a vehicle designed to preview a new design language and a future flagship sports car. The model is positioned to sit above the 911 in the company's lineup. Unlike the previously announced all-electric Mission X, the new platform is intended for mass production rather than a limited run.

The exterior design features a mid-engine layout with styling cues inspired by the 911 GT1 and the 917. Key elements include round headlights, bulging fenders, a rear fan, and a large diffuser. The interior focuses on a driver-centric layout, incorporating physical toggles, bucket seats with racing harnesses, and a carbon fiber shift lever.

The cabin design omits a traditional infotainment system in favor of a retractable smartphone mount with MagSafe connectivity. According to Porsche AG Chairman Michael Leiters, the concept serves as a versatile platform for future models. Reports suggest the production version may be equipped with a new eight-cylinder boxer engine.
