Sberbank and the Leningrad Region government have signed a cooperation agreement to launch Russia's first pilot project utilizing generative artificial intelligence in the agricultural sector. The initiative aims to drive digital transformation across the region's agro-industrial complex.
The project is based on Sberbank's GigaChat model. The AI assistant will automate routine administrative tasks, including the processing and verification of subsidy documentation for farmers. It will also handle responses to inquiries from agricultural producers.
The agreement was signed by Alexander Zakurdaev, head of Sberbank's Leningrad Region branch, and Oleg Malashchenko, Vice-Governor of the Leningrad Region. The primary goal is to accelerate management decision-making processes within the regional agricultural industry.
