Cloud.ru has launched two new managed PaaS services on its Evolution platform. The Managed OpenSearch service is now available for commercial use, while Managed DocumentDB has entered public beta testing.
Managed OpenSearch provides a cluster for full-text search, analytics, and log management. The platform handles deployment, scaling, monitoring, and maintenance, allowing teams to focus on product development rather than infrastructure management.
Managed DocumentDB is a NoSQL database supporting replication, sharding, and automated backups. It is designed for projects requiring flexible data schemas, such as storing user profiles, catalogs, and event data.
Both services are integrated into the Evolution ecosystem, sharing common tools for monitoring, logging, and access control. This integration allows developers to use DocumentDB for primary storage and OpenSearch for search and analytics, reducing manual configuration overhead.
According to Anastasia Tafeyenko, Director of Platform Development at Cloud.ru Evolution, these services aim to automate routine operations, enabling teams to launch data-driven and AI-based applications more efficiently.
