Legal AI startup Legora has secured $550 million in a Series E funding round, bringing the company valuation to $8.8 billion. The startup provides automated tools and workflow assistance for legal professionals, transitioning from basic AI assistants to comprehensive AI services.
The latest investment was led by Atreides Management, with participation from Baron Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, General Catalyst, and Menlo. Legora intends to utilize the new capital to accelerate its expansion efforts across North America.
The company reported that its annual recurring revenue has surpassed $200 million. This follows a previous funding milestone in April, when Legora announced a $50 million extension to its Series D round, which valued the business at $5.6 billion with an ARR of $100 million.
