The logistics platform KargoTech has introduced an AI-powered tool designed to assist freight carriers in drafting legal claims regarding unpaid services. The software automates the initial phase of the claim process, which previously required significant time from legal or administrative staff.
To generate a draft, users upload their service contract, input relevant document details, and describe the specific circumstances of the payment delay. The resulting document serves as a template that requires human review before being sent to the customer.
According to Mikhail Belousov, founder of the Marshal Group, the tool handles routine information gathering and drafting. However, the technology does not replace legal professionals entirely, as complex disputes still necessitate expert consultation.
This development aligns with the broader trend of integrating specialized AI tools into Russian business operations. The logistics sector is particularly suited for such automation due to the high volume of repetitive tasks and standardized documentation involved in daily operations.
