Drivee has implemented a phone number masking feature for calls made through its application. This update allows passengers and drivers to communicate regarding trip details without revealing their personal contact information to one another.
The system operates automatically, routing calls through temporary technical numbers. Users do not need to adjust any settings to activate the feature. Currently, the service is available in a test mode across Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Novosibirsk, and Yakutsk.
The company notes that this feature is part of its broader security strategy. Other existing safety tools include mandatory multi-stage document verification and photo checks for drivers, real-time trip tracking, and an in-app emergency button for contacting law enforcement.
Drivee also maintains a rating system for both passengers and drivers. The platform reserves the right to restrict access to the service for users who consistently receive negative feedback or commit repeated violations of the company's policies.
