German manufacturer Jungheinrich has introduced a new line of electric counterbalance forklifts, the EFG MB and MC series, specifically tailored for the Asian market. These vehicles are designed to operate in confined warehouse and factory environments, with models available in the 1.6- to 3-ton capacity range.

The new series offers two performance packages, allowing customers to select between energy efficiency or increased power for high-throughput tasks. Models rated for 2.5-3.0 tons come with a high-performance package as standard. Buyers can choose between lead-acid or lithium-ion batteries with capacities of 346 Ah or 690 Ah.

The forklifts feature regenerative braking technology capable of recovering up to 30% of energy during stopping and load lowering. Standard equipment includes integrated telematics for fleet management, while optional upgrades include ADAS systems, fingertip controls, and enhanced LED lighting. Four-wheel models also feature automatic cornering speed reduction.

Jungheinrich has opened order books for both three- and four-wheel configurations. The company supports these products through a service network in the Asia-Pacific region that employs more than 6,000 people.
