Berlin-based startup Integral has secured €18 million in a funding round co-led by Mosaic Ventures and Reid Hoffman. Existing investors Cherry Ventures, General Catalyst, and Puzzle Ventures also participated in the round. The company previously raised €6.3 million in February 2025 and acquired the German payroll provider cleverlohn in November 2025.

Founded in 2024 by Lukas Zorner and Anil Can Baykal, Integral combines AI agents with licensed tax professionals to automate accounting, tax, and payroll services. The platform's AI agents handle tasks such as invoice reconciliation, bank transaction processing, and payroll preparation. For over 50% of its clients, the system now manages the entire bookkeeping process.

The company operates as a recognized public audit firm under the German Public Accountant Act and is overseen by the Chamber of Public Accountants. Its infrastructure ensures compliance with GDPR, with all client data stored and processed exclusively in European data centers. The firm's affiliated entity, Integral Tax, utilizes these AI agents to serve businesses across Germany.

Integral plans to allocate the new capital toward expanding its AI engineering, commercial, and professional teams. The company aims to further automate complex financial workflows and enhance its proprietary compliance intelligence. According to the founders, the model focuses on scaling the capacity of licensed experts through AI-driven automation.
