Eka Robotics has secured $150 million in a Series A funding round, bringing the company valuation to $1.45 billion. The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz and F-Prime, with participation from Obvious Ventures and E14 Fund. Total funding raised by the startup now stands at approximately $161 million.

The company develops an AI-driven vision-force-action model for robotic manipulation. Its custom grippers utilize force sensors to adjust grip strength in real time, allowing robots to handle objects weighing up to 1 kilogram. The system currently achieves a success rate of over 95% and performs about 1,500 operations per hour.

Current grippers are priced under $1,000 and are rated for 5 million duty cycles, with the company aiming to reach 20 million cycles. The technology is currently undergoing pilot programs with industrial customers for tasks such as pick-and-place and wire handling.

Eka Robotics was founded last year by Pulkit Agrawal from MIT and Tuomas Haarnoja, formerly of Google DeepMind. The startup previously raised $11 million in a seed round in May 2025. The new capital will be used to expand task capabilities and accelerate customer deployments.
