Paris-based industrial robotics firm Inbolt has secured €11 million in a funding round led by Shift4Good. Existing investors BNP Paribas Développement and Ora Global, along with Bridges Climate Transition Partners, also participated. This latest injection of capital brings the total funding raised by the company to €30 million.
Founded in 2019 by Rudy Cohen, Albane Dersy, and Louis Dumas, Inbolt develops AI software that integrates with 3D vision systems. This technology allows industrial robots to perceive environmental changes and adjust their movements in real time, addressing issues like misaligned parts or tooling wear that cause production downtime.
The company's solution is hardware-agnostic and functions on existing production lines without requiring equipment replacement. Currently, the system is deployed on more than 200 robots across over 100 factories on three continents. Notable clients include Bosch, Beko, Flex, Ford, Stellantis, and Toyota.
Inbolt plans to use the new capital to support international expansion, specifically targeting the US and APAC markets. The company recently opened an office in Detroit in 2026. Furthermore, the firm aims to enter the data center and electronics manufacturing sectors to broaden its industrial application.
