Hyundai has completed its B-X series of battery-electric forklifts, introducing new models that expand the lineup to include capacities from 4 to 18 tonnes. The latest additions include the 100B-X, 120B-X, 130B-X LC600, 160B-X, and 180B-X, which are now shipping to customers.
The 160B-X model features a 618V high-voltage lithium-ion battery system. According to the manufacturer, this configuration allows for over 7 hours of continuous operation on a single charge. The trucks are designed for intensive indoor and outdoor use, targeting sectors that traditionally rely on diesel equipment.
Safety features integrated into the B-X range include camera-based pedestrian detection, load sensing, and Blue Spot and Red Zone lighting. The vehicles also offer autonomous parking and an operator-presence system that disables mast and travel functions when the driver leaves the seat.
The company developed these heavy-duty electric forklifts for industries such as shipbuilding, timber processing, metal production, and logistics. These machines are built to operate in challenging environments, including dusty conditions, rain, and cold temperatures, where they are intended to replace diesel-powered trucks.
