Hugelshofer Group has integrated two new electric trucks into its logistics fleet: the SuperPanther eTopas 600 and the Sany e263. These vehicles, designated as units 86 and 87, are currently undergoing operational testing to evaluate range, energy efficiency, reliability, and total cost of ownership in heavy-duty transport.

The eTopas 600 model is assembled at the Steyr Automotive plant in Austria, utilizing components from European suppliers, while its drivetrain and software are developed by the Chinese company SuperPanther. The Sany e263 is produced in Changsha, China, marking the brand's debut in the Swiss market.

The company has been actively building its electric fleet since 2020, when it introduced the first 40-tonne battery-electric articulated lorry in Switzerland. In 2024, the firm launched a large-scale fast-charging park for electric trucks in Frauenfeld. These initiatives support the group's long-term goal of achieving a fully electrified fleet by 2035.
