Austrian firm Easelink has signed a licensing agreement with Luxshare to bring its Matrix Charging technology to the Chinese market. The system uses a conductive plate on the vehicle underbody that lowers to connect with a floor-mounted pad, aiming to reduce energy losses compared to inductive charging.

The partnership focuses on industrializing the solution and integrating it into future vehicle platforms for Chinese OEMs. Luxshare will market the technology as Luxshare Matrix Charging. Both companies are already working on initial projects to implement the system for local automotive manufacturers.

Luxshare has committed to joining the Matrix Charging Interest Group, an alliance established in late 2025 to promote standardization. Founding members of this group include Audi, Nissan, and Voyah. Easelink plans to expand its local team to support the collaboration with Luxshare and Chinese partners.

This deal follows Easelink’s recent partnership with German supplier SEG Automotive, which was announced over the summer. SEG Automotive, owned by the Chinese ZMJ Group, also joined the standardization group and intends to incorporate the charging technology into its own product portfolio.
