The 2027 Honda Passport TrailSport features a redesigned suspension with 70% of major components replaced, including springs, dampers, and control arms. These changes increase the ground clearance to 9.65 inches, which is 1.38 inches higher than the previous version.

Off-road geometry has been improved, with approach and departure angles now at 25 degrees and a breakover angle of 23 degrees. The vehicle retains its 3.5-liter V6 engine, which produces 285 hp. Heated steering wheels and the TrailWatch camera system are now standard.

Visual updates include amber LED hood lights, wider fender extensions, and a modified front skid plate. The model is manufactured in Alabama, with engines produced in Lincoln. Sales of TrailSport variants account for over 80% of total Passport volume.

The SUV will arrive at dealerships later this month, with pricing details to follow. Starting in early 2027, the Passport TrailSport Elite will also be exported to the Japanese market.
