The 2027 Ford Bronco lineup introduces significant powertrain updates, replacing the 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 with the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 previously exclusive to the Raptor model. This engine is now available for the Outer Banks, Badlands, Heritage, and the new Filson trim levels.

In these configurations, the 3.0-liter engine is tuned to produce 380 horsepower and 440 pound-feet of torque. By comparison, the outgoing 2.7-liter unit was limited to 315 horsepower and 410 pound-feet. The entry-level Bronco and Big Bend models will continue to utilize the 2.3-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine.

Interior and equipment updates for the 2027 model year include a heated steering wheel for Big Bend models with the Mid Package. The Outer Banks trim with the optional Lux Package now features premium vinyl seats, while Badlands models receive upgraded Marine Grade Vinyl and a power-adjustable driver's seat.

The exterior color palette has been updated with the addition of Neptune Blue, replacing Velocity Blue. The Filson model, which was announced in June 2026, will be available in exclusive Field Green and Iron Sands Metallic paint options. Ford has not yet disclosed pricing for the 2027 range.
