The 2027 Honda Passport TrailSport is currently arriving at dealerships with a starting price of $49,995, marking an increase of $1,345 compared to the previous model year. This price adjustment reflects significant mechanical upgrades, including a redesigned suspension system.
Engineers updated approximately 70 percent of the major suspension components, including the front subframe and driveshafts. These changes increased the ground clearance to 9.65 inches, up from 8.27 inches in the 2026 version. The vehicle retains its 3.5-liter V6 engine.
The TrailSport trim now includes features previously reserved for the top-tier Elite model, such as the TrailWatch camera system and a heated steering wheel. Additionally, General Grabber A/T Sport tires are now standard equipment for this trim level.
Pricing for other models in the lineup has also shifted. The base RTL trim starts at $45,195, while the range-topping TrailSport Elite is priced at $53,695. The TrailSport Blackout variant saw a price increase of $1,645 compared to the 2026 version.
Honda reports that TrailSport models have accounted for more than 80 percent of total Passport sales since mid-2026. This performance exceeded the company's initial expectations for the trim's market adoption.
