Honda is planning a major update for the Accord model, with the official debut scheduled for the second half of 2027. The new iteration will feature a futuristic design inspired by the 0 Series electric concept vehicles and a prototype unveiled in the spring of 2026.
The interior will receive significant upgrades, including larger displays, enhanced multimedia functionality, and higher-quality materials. While the vehicle will retain its current platform, engineers are focusing on improving the efficiency of the 1.5-liter and 2-liter hybrid powertrains.
A specialized version of the Accord, blending features of a station wagon and a crossover, is expected to arrive in 2029. This model is positioned as a spiritual successor to the Honda Crosstour, which was produced during the first half of the 2010s.
