HighTech and Novosibirsk State Technical University (NSTU NETI) have signed a partnership agreement to develop AI solutions. The collaboration focuses on testing Russian-made LinQ neural accelerators, adapting university AI algorithms to this hardware, and training specialists in AI and neurotechnology.

The partnership aims to transition NSTU infrastructure to domestic hardware. Plans include localizing approximately 100 neural network models on LinQ chips. The hardware will be tested in real-time video processing, autonomous navigation for drones like the Sarma UAV, and infrastructure monitoring, including railway steel inspection.

The project also covers confidential data processing, such as medical imaging and biosignals, using LinQ server configurations. Researchers will test the flexibility of the LinQ compiler using custom neural networks and algorithms for anomaly detection developed at the university.

A specialized AI laboratory will be established under the Top-IT educational program to provide students and researchers with access to domestic hardware. Furthermore, the partners intend to participate in the Priority-2030 program and apply for the Advanced Engineering Schools project, which has a potential annual budget of 200 ₽ million.
