Sitronics Group has designed and deployed technological data transmission networks for a mining and processing plant. The project aims to modernize infrastructure and transition to domestic solutions in accordance with Russian Government Decree No. 1912 regarding critical information infrastructure.
The implementation involved site surveys, engineering studies, and the development of migration plans for automated process control systems. Engineers constructed new fiber-optic lines with redundant routing and installed hardware based on a three-tier architectural model.
The project team established two independent networks connecting geographically dispersed facilities, ensuring scalability for future digital services. Additionally, they integrated a round-the-clock automated monitoring system into the client's existing diagnostic infrastructure.
According to Sitronics Group Vice President Alexey Grigoryev, the network architecture is designed to maintain production continuity even if individual nodes fail. All installation work was completed without interrupting the plant's ongoing operations.
