Three months after Elon Musk announced plans for an AI-generated film adaptation of The Odyssey, Grok has released the first seven minutes of the project. The company refers to this footage as the first episode of its series.
The production was created in collaboration with Wonder Studios and director Dev Walker. The footage utilizes the Grok Imagine tool to generate visuals, featuring characters with a specific aesthetic and a narrator using a British accent.
This release follows Musk's public criticism of Christopher Nolan’s recent film version of The Odyssey. While Nolan’s production involved a large-scale shoot across six countries, the Grok project relies entirely on AI-generated content.
