The funding round was led by 3XP Global via its Impact Innovation Fund, supported by the Portuguese state development bank. Additional participants included Celtis Venture Partners, Gateway Ventures, the US firm Deel, and angel investor Bracken Darrell. This investment brings the total capital raised by the startup to €2 million.
Granter provides an AI-powered platform that assists SMEs and startups in identifying public funding opportunities, drafting applications, and managing projects. The company recently updated its AI Grant Consultant with a chat-based interface. According to the startup, the tool reduces application preparation time from several weeks to under one hour.
Since winning the PITCH competition at Web Summit in November 2025, Granter has assisted over 140 businesses in applying for more than €30 million in funding. Its current client list includes organizations such as ANA Airports, MC Sonae, Galp, the Portuguese Navy, and Fidelidade.
The company intends to use the new capital to scale its operations, double its workforce by the end of the year, and expand into Spain, Germany, and Italy. Granter also plans to enter the US market in the medium term, leveraging existing commercial connections in those regions.
