Berlin-based startup Conlio has secured €6.4 million in a funding round led by Piton Capital. Participants included Haufe Group Ventures, WaVe-X, F-LOG Ventures, System. One, Puzzle Ventures, Booom Ventures, and Yellow.

Founded in 2023 by Dr. Claudio Consul, the company develops AI-powered software to automate financial workflows in the road freight sector. The platform interprets and verifies complex shipping documents to reduce manual processing costs.

Conlio claims its technology can automate over 90% of document checks. The company estimates that its platform can increase a freight forwarder’s EBIT by up to 30%, potentially adding over €1 million in annual impact for firms with €100 million in revenue.

The investment follows a series of funding rounds in the European freight technology sector during 2026. Other recent deals include investments in Procuros, cargo.one, Cargofy, Vectrix, Plinto, and Zalos, totaling approximately €49.4 million in additional capital.
