Geely has unveiled the updated Galaxy E5, known in several international markets as the Geely EX5. The official premiere of the electric crossover is scheduled for September 23. The vehicle features a transition to an 800-volt architecture, enabling 6C ultra-fast charging capabilities and incorporating the new Shield Short Blade battery technology.

The updated model has undergone minor exterior adjustments, including a redesigned bumper, the addition of a roof-mounted lidar, and the replacement of retractable door handles with traditional ones. The vehicle dimensions have increased to 4636 x 1920 x 1670 mm, while the wheelbase remains at 2750 mm. Customers can choose between 18-inch and 19-inch wheels.

The powertrain has been significantly upgraded, featuring a rear-mounted electric motor with a maximum output of 245 kW, equivalent to 333 horsepower. This shift to a rear-wheel-drive configuration has created space for a front trunk. The suspension system retains its original design, utilizing front McPherson struts and a rear multi-link setup.
