Galactic Energy has announced the upcoming launch of its Ceres-1 sea-based commercial carrier rocket. The mission is officially designated as 'Sea to Guangzhou'. This launch follows a series of successful operations for the Ceres-1 sea-based variant, which has maintained a 100% success rate since its maiden flight on September 5, 2023.

The company previously completed the Ceres-1 sea-based (Yao-7) mission, also known as 'Wanghai Chao', on January 16 at 04:10 Beijing time. The launch took place in the waters near Rizhao, Shandong, under the coordination of the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center's maritime team.

Galactic Energy is recognized as the first private Chinese rocket company to achieve consistent and stable launch operations. The firm holds national-level 'Little Giant' status and is listed among global unicorn enterprises by Hurun and Forbes. Its core product portfolio includes the Athena series of medium-to-large reusable liquid rockets and the Ceres series of light solid-fuel launch vehicles.
