Ford Pro is showcasing the new all-electric Transit City at the IAA Transportation trade show in Hanover. The vehicle, which had its digital premiere in March, is now available in several body styles, including a panel van in two sizes, a box body, and a flatbed. The starting price for the Transit City is €35 990.

The company also introduced a new 96-kWh battery for the 2-tonne E-Transit. This upgrade provides a range of up to 432 kilometers under the WLTP cycle, which is 115 kilometers more than the standard 68-kWh version. The new variant supports DC fast charging up to 180 kW, allowing a 10 to 80 percent charge in 28 minutes.

To support fleet management, Ford Pro is launching subscription-based software tools, Ford Uptime Services and Ford Uptime Insights, in Germany. These tools analyze vehicle data to identify potential technical issues early. The services follow a pilot project that involved approximately 11 000 connected vehicles.
