San Francisco-based Flow Engineering has secured $50 million in a Series B funding round. The investment brings the company's post-money valuation to $750 million. The round was co-led by Valor Equity Partners and Atreides Management, with participation from Sequoia Capital and individual investors including Thomas Wolf and Nico Rosberg.
The startup develops a platform that integrates hardware design requirements, simulations, and verification into a real-time systems graph. AI agents within the software perform impact analysis and conflict detection to monitor design changes. According to the company, this technology can reduce hardware testing and iteration cycles from months or years to several days.
Flow Engineering recently released the third version of its platform, Flow v3. The company is currently expanding its operations and transitioning toward a broader product rollout. The platform is already utilized by organizations such as Anduril, Joby, Stoke Space, Rivian, General Motors, and the RV Tech joint venture between Rivian and Volkswagen.
The company intends to establish its software as a primary solution for requirements management and verification in complex hardware projects. It is placing a strategic emphasis on the aerospace and defense sectors. The new capital will support the firm as it scales its business and increases its market presence.
