French startup Fleuret AI has secured €4 million in a pre-seed funding round. The investment was led by RAISE Ventures, with additional backing from Auriga Cyber Ventures, Wind, Better Angle, and several industry-focused business angels.
Founded by CEO Yanis Grigy and CTO Augustin Ponsin, the company is building a platform to automate penetration testing. It utilizes two AI agents, Emile and Champollion, to map systems, identify vulnerabilities, and demonstrate exploitability through proofs of compromise.
The platform aims to shift penetration testing from periodic audits to a continuous security process. It monitors attack surfaces, prioritizes vulnerabilities, integrates with existing technical tools, and verifies that identified security issues have been resolved.
Fleuret AI plans to use the new capital to expand its team by hiring specialists in AI, software development, and offensive cybersecurity. The funds will also accelerate the development of the platform, which is designed for enterprise environments.
The startup focuses on the European market, operating its AI agents on local infrastructure to meet regional sovereignty requirements. The goal is to provide accessible offensive cybersecurity tools to companies that lack resources for frequent manual testing.
