Tesla CEO Elon Musk expressed his appreciation for China during an interview with investor Ron Baron on November 6. He praised the competitiveness of the Chinese automotive industry and noted that the Model Y, manufactured at the Shanghai plant, is currently the best-selling electric vehicle in the country.

Musk also addressed the development of artificial intelligence in China during a separate interview with CCTV Finance in September. He highlighted the high performance of Chinese AI models relative to their computing power, describing it as among the best globally.

Regarding the current computing power constraints, Musk stated that China is likely to bridge the gap within two to three years. He expects the country to overcome these challenges by advancing its domestic lithography technology and semiconductor manufacturing capabilities.
