Fang Cheng Bao, a division of BYD, has officially confirmed plans for the Tai 6 model, though specific technical details and launch timelines remain undisclosed. Additionally, the brand expects to introduce the Formula SL in 2027, further diversifying its product range beyond traditional off-road SUVs.
The company has set a clear release schedule for its upcoming vehicles. The Tai 9, a six-seat plug-in hybrid SUV, is scheduled for launch in November. The Shark pickup, which debuted in Mexico in May 2024, is expected to enter the Chinese market in December, featuring a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine paired with dual electric motors.
Management is currently addressing challenges related to vehicle delivery speeds. Following the first offline event for the Formula S series, the company confirmed that the DiSus-C version of the model began production on November 7. Deliveries for this variant are anticipated to commence by mid-to-late November.
The brand continues to show strong sales performance. As of November 1, cumulative sales reached 600 000 units. In October alone, the company sold 43 872 vehicles, marking a 41.29 percent year-on-year increase. Total sales for the first ten months of the year reached 329 308 units, representing a 124.99 percent growth compared to the previous year.
