The new Powered by Electrify America program provides US retailers with a turnkey solution to establish their own branded DC fast charging networks. This white-label service allows businesses to manage key operational aspects, including pricing, branding, and customer loyalty programs, while leveraging the technical infrastructure and support of Electrify America.

The initiative is designed to help retailers increase customer dwell time and generate additional revenue by positioning their locations as charging destinations. Currently, the program already supports nearly 600 chargers across more than 100 stations, with major retail chains such as Wawa and Costco already participating in the network.

Electrify America, a subsidiary of Volkswagen, maintains an extensive coast-to-coast network comprising over 5 600 chargers at 1 080 stations. The company plans to showcase its white-label offering at the National Association of Convenience Stores annual show in Las Vegas, which takes place from 6 to 9 October.
