Geely Holding Group has announced a global partnership with Google to integrate digital services into its passenger vehicles. Starting in the second half of 2027, overseas models will feature Google Gemini, Google Maps, and Google Play, allowing users to access navigation, voice commands, and third-party applications.

According to CTO Dr. Shen Yuan, the initiative aims to create a more intuitive digital cockpit ecosystem that aligns with the daily routines of drivers. These services will assist with tasks such as route planning and locating charging stations. The specific vehicle model to debut these features has not yet been named.

This integration is part of Geely's broader strategy to adapt its diverse brand portfolio for international markets. The group includes brands such as Zeekr, Volvo, Polestar, and Lotus. Previously, the company has worked on other digital entertainment projects, including cloud-based gaming collaborations and media platforms based on Android Automotive OS.
