Igor, a product manager at Outlines Tech, developed a fuel monitoring tool to track the availability of AI-95 gasoline at specific gas stations. The project was created with the assistance of ChatGPT and Codex, using Python code executed on an Android device via the Termux terminal emulator.
The tool monitors fuel status every 10–15 minutes and sends notifications via the Pushover application. The service is free for the first 30 days, after which a subscription fee of $4.99 per platform applies. The developer later added a history tracking feature to analyze fuel delivery times.
A map interface based on the MapLibre library was integrated into the project one month after the initial launch. It displays fuel availability, the number of confirming data sources, and estimated delivery times based on historical data. The project code and documentation are available on GitHub.
