The Z9 GT e3 Flash Charge trim features a powertrain combining a 230-kW front motor and two 310-kW rear permanent-magnet motors, delivering 1,210 N·m of torque. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and is equipped with DiSus-A intelligent air suspension and independent rear-wheel steering, which enables a 4.62-meter turning radius.
The model utilizes BYD's second-generation Blade Battery, offering a CLTC range of 860 km and a WLTP range of 600 km. Its Flash Charging system allows for a full charge in nine minutes under optimal conditions, with an additional three minutes required in extreme cold. The car connects to BYD's Flash Charging network, which grew to over 10,000 stations in China by late August.
Compared to the e3 Performance edition, the new trim maintains the same dimensions—5,195 mm in length and 3,125 mm wheelbase—but replaces carbon-ceramic brake discs with ventilated cast-iron discs and streamlines some cabin amenities. Driver assistance is provided by the DiPilot 5.0 system, which includes automated parking and city navigation on autopilot.
In terms of market positioning, the Z9 GT's price matches the dual-motor Zeekr 001 AWD, which reaches 329,800 yuan. However, the Denza model provides a power advantage of 270 kW (362 hp) over the most powerful standard 001 AWD configuration.
Sales data shows a rapid increase in domestic deliveries for the Z9 GT, growing from 712 units in March 2026 to 6,025 in June. While July deliveries decreased by 11.3% month-on-month to 5,344 units, the model accounted for 29.6% of Denza's domestic passenger-car sales in July.
