Circuit Mind Ltd. has secured $25 million in funding to expand its AI-driven hardware design platform. The investment consists of an $18.5 million Series A round led by Norwest Venture Partners, alongside a previously unannounced seed round led by Third Prime.

The company also launched the Agentic Verification Engine, which uses AI agents to identify errors in circuit board schematics. These agents analyze connections and voltages against component datasheets and internal engineering checklists to automate the design review process.

Circuit Mind’s platform integrates with existing electronic computer-aided design software. It uses a physics-based engine to test design decisions, allowing engineers to generate schematics and bills of materials in minutes while optimizing for factors like cost and power consumption.

The company reports that users have reduced bill of materials costs by 25%. Case studies include Los Alamos National Laboratory, which completed a board design in just over four hours, compared to an estimated 60 to 80 hours of manual work.

The new capital will support the expansion of the platform into testing and firmware development. Circuit Mind also plans to grow its engineering and sales teams and establish a U.S. headquarters to better serve North American clients.

Founded in London in 2018 by Tomide Adesanmi and Basilio Gentile, the startup has now raised a total of $33.4 million. Dave Zilberman from Norwest Venture Partners will join the company’s board of directors.
