Eclypsium and Nvidia have announced a partnership to secure the hardware and firmware layers supporting AI infrastructure. The collaboration integrates Eclypsium’s AI Infrastructure Assurance platform with Nvidia’s BlueField Data Processing Units (DPUs) and the Open Agent Safety Platform.
The Eclypsium platform performs hardware and firmware inventory, comparing components against a database of over 30 million known-good binaries to identify unauthorized changes or vulnerabilities. Nvidia’s BlueField DPUs provide isolated trust domains to govern AI agents by offloading security and networking tasks from the main CPU.
Joint research by the companies revealed that compromised infrastructure can alter in-memory model reasoning even if the model hash remains valid. This finding highlights a vulnerability where model files may appear secure while the underlying hardware is compromised, necessitating security measures beyond model-level safeguards.
Eclypsium, founded in 2018, has raised over $100 million in total funding, including a $25 million round in March 2026. The company previously joined Nvidia’s Inception program in December 2025 and began supporting Nvidia hardware in May 2024.
