The Adora Huacheng, China's second domestically built large cruise ship, was officially delivered at the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding facility. The vessel was completed approximately two months ahead of the original schedule, marking a shift toward series production for this class of ships.

The cruise ship measures 341 meters in length and 37.2 meters in width, with a gross tonnage of 141,900 tons. It features 16 decks, 2,130 guest cabins, and a maximum capacity of 5,232 passengers. Compared to its predecessor, the Adora Modu, the new ship is 17.4 meters longer and has a higher tonnage, with expanded public and outdoor leisure areas.

Technical upgrades include the addition of two desulfurization towers and selective catalytic reduction systems to manage emissions. The ship is equipped with 28 restaurants and bars, an 800-seat theater, and a 200-meter circular running track. Noise reduction treatments ensure indoor noise levels remain below 45 decibels during operation.

The ship will move to the Shanghai Wusongkou International Cruise Terminal on November 7 for trial operations. It is scheduled to arrive at the Guangzhou Nansha International Cruise Homeport on November 12, with its maiden voyage departing from Guangzhou on November 22. The inaugural trip will be a 6-day, 5-night journey to Hong Kong and Vietnam.
