Brussels-based fintech Chift has secured €10.5 million in a Series A funding round. The investment was led by BlackFin Capital Partners, with participation from existing backers Entourage, Shapers, Seeder Fund, and Wallonie Entreprendre.

Founded in 2022 by Gauthier Henroz, Henry Hertoghe, and Matthieu Hertoghe, the company provides infrastructure that links software products with various financial tools. Their unified API currently connects to more than 120 financial systems spanning six categories, including accounting, e-commerce, and payment platforms.

The startup intends to use the new capital to expand its presence across European markets. Additionally, the funds will support the development of AI capabilities, specifically focusing on integrations that require less manual configuration and provide AI products with necessary access to business data.

The company identifies the rising demand for interoperability as a key driver for its growth, citing the increasing adoption of AI and mandatory e-invoicing regulations across the 27 countries of Europe as major factors shaping the financial software market.
