Changan Kaicheng announced that the V919 Glory Edition 8-cubic-meter model will launch on October 13. The vehicle features CATL battery cells across all trims, offering a range of 355 km under the CLTC cycle. It supports 2C fast charging, allowing the battery to charge from 30% to 80% in 15 minutes.
The cargo box measures 1.74 meters in width, allowing for four standard turnover boxes to be placed side-by-side without gaps. The 3.38-meter length meets cargo platform certification standards and accommodates pipes or boards up to 3.3 meters long. The frame uses a ten-horizontal and five-vertical structure with a cage-style high-strength body.
Safety features include a standard vehicle stability system and hill-start assist across the entire lineup. When fully loaded at a speed of 70 km/h, the emergency braking distance for the vehicle is 21.53 meters.
