BYD's Fang Cheng Bao division has unveiled the official images of the Bao 9 SUV in Meteorite Black. The vehicle is scheduled for market launch in the fourth quarter of this year. The SUV features a full-size design with dimensions of 5270x1999x1880 mm and a wheelbase of 3130 mm, utilizing a 2+2+2 six-seat layout.
The Bao 9 is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system featuring a 1.5T engine and dual electric motors, delivering a total motor power of 400 kW. The 1.5T engine provides 115 kW of power. The vehicle includes a 66.48 kWh battery pack, offering a pure electric range of 310 km under WLTC conditions and a combined range exceeding 1600 km.
Standard technical features include the second-generation Blade battery, the DMS hybrid platform, the Yunian-A body control system with road preview, and the iATS intelligent all-terrain system. The interior offers a 30-inch panoramic screen and a 21.4-inch rear ceiling screen, with all seats featuring ventilation, heating, and massage functions.
