BMW North America has introduced a new charging incentive for buyers and lessees of 2027 model year electric vehicles. The package includes $500 in charging credits and a one-year membership to the IONNA network, which offers a 25 percent discount on charging sessions.

The credit is split into two parts: $300 for use across the broader BMW ChargingNetwork and $200 specifically for the IONNA network. The BMW ChargingNetwork provides access to over 180 000 public charging points in the US through partnerships with operators like Shell Recharge, ChargePoint, and EVgo.

The offer applies to the 2027 BMW i5, i7, and iX3 models. Customers who acquired these vehicles before the program launch on 5 November are also eligible. Benefits remain valid for one year from the date of the vehicle's retail sale.

To access the benefits, users must register through the My BMW app. IONNA, a joint venture involving BMW and seven other automakers, operates over 200 locations in the US with DC charging capabilities of up to 400 kW.
