Kia is expanding its electric Platform Beyond Vehicle lineup with the new PV7 van, set to launch in 2027. The vehicle is built on the E-GMP.S platform and measures 5,350 mm in length with a 3,500 mm wheelbase, offering significantly more interior space than the existing PV5 model.
The van will be available with two nickel-cobalt-manganese battery options: 71.5 kWh and 96.2 kWh. The Long Range Cargo version provides a WLTP range exceeding 460 km. The 800V architecture supports fast charging, allowing the battery to reach 80% capacity in approximately 25 minutes using a 350 kW charger.
At launch, the PV7 will feature front-wheel drive, with all-wheel drive planned for later. The powertrain delivers up to 268 horsepower and 420 Nm of torque. The vehicle includes V2L capabilities, allowing it to function as a mobile power source for external equipment and electronic devices.
The Cargo variant offers up to 8 cubic meters of storage in the High Roof configuration and a maximum payload of 1,200 kg. The Passenger version accommodates up to nine people globally, with an 11-seat configuration available in Korea. The interior features the Pleos Connect infotainment system running on Android Automotive OS.
