Birdbuddy has officially launched its latest smart bird feeders, previously announced at CES 2026. The lineup includes the compact Birdbuddy Nook and the larger Birdbuddy Home, both now available via the company's online store with retail expansion planned for later this month.
The entry-level Birdbuddy Nook starts at $99. It features a 2K HDR camera with a 135-degree field of view, capable of landscape and portrait shooting. The device includes a 3.8-cup seed reservoir and utilizes AI-powered app integration to identify visiting bird species.
Premium versions of the Nook are available at higher price points. The Nook Solar costs $159 and includes a roof-mounted solar panel, while the Nook Extended Edition is priced at $199 and adds a larger perch for birds.
The flagship Birdbuddy Home is priced at $219. It features a larger six-cup reservoir and comes standard with dual solar panels. Additional hardware includes a built-in perch extender, dual-band Wi-Fi, and an upgraded microphone for enhanced audio-based species identification.
