BCS World of Investments reported that 31% of requests from external AI assistants to its infrastructure involve brokerage account management. This includes accessing portfolio data, transaction history, and managing trade orders. The service supports integration with tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, and Gemini.
Launched in late August 2026, the service has attracted over 3,000 clients and currently processes approximately 600,000 requests daily. The most frequent user activity is retrieving market quotes, which accounts for 57% of all requests. Other tasks include viewing price history at 8% and searching for financial instruments or margin trading data at 4%.
The integration utilizes the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to connect AI assistants directly to the BCS trading API. Users generate a digital key in their personal account to establish a connection without writing code. The system offers two access levels: read-only or read-and-trade, with all trade orders requiring explicit user confirmation.
According to Vladislav Babiev, head of the trading API product at BCS, the service allows users to analyze portfolios and execute trades within a single dialogue. While the AI assists with data retrieval and order preparation, the final decision to execute any transaction remains entirely with the investor.
