Amazon Web Services has released The Physical AI Toolchain on GitHub, a collection of resources for developers creating robots and autonomous systems. The toolkit integrates reference architectures, Terraform templates for infrastructure as code, and deployment automation samples.

The platform combines AWS managed services with the NVIDIA physical AI ecosystem. It supports the full development lifecycle, including synthetic data generation, model training, simulation, and edge deployment. The toolchain utilizes GPU-heavy instances like the p5.48xlarge.

AWS provides cost estimates for specific workloads to assist developers. For instance, running a full training sample for GR00T is estimated at $79, while the Cosmos Predict workload costs approximately $37 per hour.

The new release builds upon the AWS Physical AI framework introduced in December 2025. It focuses on a five-stage development cycle: data, training, validation, deployment, and feedback, incorporating technologies like NVIDIA Isaac Lab and 3D Gaussian Splatting.
