The Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad has commenced production of the Tank 500 SUV. Initially, the manufacturing process utilizes pre-welded and painted bodies. The production line covers both gasoline and hybrid variants of the vehicle.

This model marks the second Tank vehicle to be assembled in Russia, following the start of Tank 300 production at the same facility in May 2026. Cumulative sales of the Tank 500 in Russia surpassed 25,000 units as of May 2026.

The gasoline versions feature a 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine with outputs of 299 or 354 horsepower. The hybrid lineup includes a seven-seat non-plug-in model and a plug-in hybrid version delivering 394 horsepower, offering an electric range of up to 115 kilometers.

The vehicle includes all-wheel drive, a low-range gearbox, and differential locks. To adapt to local conditions, the cars feature a winter package with heating elements and additional anti-corrosion treatment. Support is provided through a network of 69 dealerships across 50 cities.
