According to Avito Rabota, 43% of Russian employees are open to shift-based work, with 17% having prior experience and 26% considering it. In 2026, over 2 million job seekers interacted with shift-based vacancies, representing nearly one in five users on the platform.
Employers are increasingly offering benefits to attract candidates. Currently, 79% of shift-based vacancies include housing, 70% provide meals, and 18% offer medical insurance. Compensation for travel expenses is offered in 37% of listings, showing an 11 percentage point increase over two years.
Automation tools, including chatbots, are being implemented to manage routine communications and improve conversion rates throughout the hiring funnel. Companies adopting these technologies and flexible employment models report closing vacancies 30% faster on average.
The platform also highlighted the impact of legal compliance and employer branding. For instance, the Moscow government reduced the average time to fill a vacancy from 29 to 25 days in 2025, with over 70% of hires coming from warm traffic sources.
