Unmanned KAMAZ trucks delivered robots for the Battle of Robots championship to Kazan for the first time in Russia. The vehicles departed from Moscow on October 21 and completed the trip the following day. The cargo included six combat robots weighing up to 110 kilograms, developed by engineering teams from Russia, Brazil, China, and India.
The trucks traveled autonomously along the M-12 Vostok highway, monitored by the Ministry of Transport's Situation and Information Center. Real-time tracking was conducted via the ERA-GLONASS system. The transported robots include ABDUCOW from Brazil, Iron Scrap from China, GODSPEED from India, and the Russian entry Maboy from Perm.
The 2026 season of the Battle of Robots received 307 applications, with 144 teams from 11 countries advancing to the semifinals. Qualifying rounds took place in Moscow in two weight categories: up to 110 kilograms and mini-robots up to 1.5 kilograms. The final event is scheduled for October 31 at the Kazan Expo exhibition center.
