The Russian automotive brand Tenet is expanding its T4L crossover lineup with a new all-wheel-drive version. The vehicle will feature an intelligent system that automatically engages the rear axle based on road conditions, distributing torque to improve stability on snow, wet pavement, and dirt roads.
The crossover is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 147 horsepower and 210 Nm of torque. It is paired with a seven-speed DCT7 robotic transmission, which is engineered to handle up to 300 Nm of torque. Drivers can select from six operating modes, including Eco, Standard, Sport, 4x4, Snow, and Mud.
The T4L is a five-seater family vehicle offering a cargo capacity of up to 1,500 liters. Owners can also install a tow hitch to pull trailers weighing up to 750 kilograms. The manufacturer has implemented specialized protective coatings on the body and undercarriage to prevent corrosion and damage from road reagents.
Production of the vehicle takes place at the AGR holding plant in Kaluga, which utilizes a full-cycle manufacturing process. At this time, the company has not disclosed the official pricing or the specific date when the new all-wheel-drive model will be available for purchase.
