Apple has released the first developer beta for Safari 27.3, which is part of the latest iOS, iPadOS, and macOS updates. The new version introduces vertical tabs, an adaptive dark mode, and expanded Siri AI capabilities to improve user navigation and content management.

The vertical tabs feature is designed to help users manage multiple open pages more effectively by displaying full titles. This option is accessible via the View menu on Mac and iPad, while iPhone users can enable it through the Safari settings menu. The update also includes support for the iPhone Duo foldable device.

The adaptive dark mode utilizes Apple Intelligence to analyze websites that lack native dark themes. It automatically adjusts background colors, text contrast, and shadows. Developers retain control over this feature and can prevent the browser from modifying their site's appearance by adding specific tags.

Siri AI now integrates more deeply with browser content, allowing users to perform complex tasks via voice commands. Users can query specific details from product descriptions, group or close tabs, and clear browsing history for specific sites for the past 20 days.
